Cameron Trip and Wendy's Birthday

Finally, I'd finished all my exams during last semester, and it's holiday time!!!

There were 8 of us going to Cameron Highlands, and it was full of excitement and anticipation. We arrived in Tapah, and missed the 1st bus to Camerong, so we had our Western breakfast at an old Chinese restaurant there (funny right??) We went up to Tanah Rata by a old and smelly bus, luckily I didn't vomit on the way up!!! ( the driver drove so fast @.@)

As we reached there, we went to have lunch at a old English restaurant to have scones and pie. Wow, I felt like I was in England. XD

It was raining as we reached our apartment there, heavy rain!! Making us all freezing cold~~ We booked a van and we went to visit a few places, the first place was the Time Museum, as we could enjoy looking the old goodies we used to play or use when we were still a small kid, or our ancestors had used them. >.<

Our next stop was the Boh Tea Plantation, gosh, the road to it was so narrow (almost scared will fall into the bushes of tea leaves there... XD). We got to enter the factory where they produced the tea leaves and the packaging of it, and before we left the place, we had warm tea and delicious hot mushroom soup at the cafeteria, yum yum~~

(A "family photo" of ours ^^)

Next stop, we went to the strawberry farm, to pick some strawberries (I wished we could do that that time), and enjoy delicious chocolate strawberries!!!

(Look at the juice came out from the strawberry...*slurp*)

Then, we went to the Bee Farm, which is just located nearby, enjoying snapping pictures of flowers and *syok sendiri* there too. XD

After we visited all those places, our last stop, was buying veges from Kea Farm, we are like housewives, bargaining for cheaper price and beautiful veges to take home. (^_^) Of course, we had steamboat for dinner at Yik Kuan's relative's steamboat restaurant, and also some strawberry ice. (*Satisfied look*)

(Before...)

(After....)

(Cheers everyone, yuummmmmm sennnnggg~~~)

We went back to the apartment, and surprise our beloved Wendy for her birthday!! *Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to Wendy.... WOo hoo! Happy birthday to you~!!!*

(Opps~~ She's crying looking at the cake that I made for her... XD)

Sadly, we got to make a move back to Kampar the next morning, but before that, let's take a photo first. ^^

(Xi gua tian bu tian~~~~)

Love u guys lots

Bon Odori Ipoh 2010

Konnichiwa minasan. Guess what, Bon Odori was in Ipoh, strange huh?? But, it gave me a chance to go and enjoy myself again, and this time, I got to wear a yukata!!! Thanks to Yik Kuan dear for lending me the yukata (although I didn't have the waist ribbon, which I had to use another alternative XD).

The Bon Odori was held at Meru Valley Golf Club, and it was not really big, couldn't expect much from it, and not as exciting as the one held in Shah Alam, but, who cares, as long as we enjoyed ourselves. ^^

We got to play games which the one in Shah Alam did not have, such as using rice paper to catch gold fish, scooping water balloons using only a tiny string with a hook, etc etc and etc... There's not much food sold there, and we couldn't get any one of it. T.T

The people who taught how to play those games were Japanese, but I couldn't understand what they were trying to say!!! Gosh, I think I need to brush up my Japanese. >.< So we decided to have our dinner at a Sushi East, a Japanese restaurant near Jusco.

Japanese yukata, Japanese event, and Japanese food, too bad, I'm not a Japanese. XD

Nevertheless, it was a great night with you guys there and the dinner was superb too. ^^

Bon Odori Shah Alam & KL Trip

Bon Odori!!! I'd been waiting for this moment for so long~!!! Finally!!! Here I come!!!

My beloved kai lui, Xiao Rou took me back to her hometown which is in Puchong and I spent 2 nights at her house. Both of us took KTM back and to my surprise, she stayed in an apartment, and her family owns a mini shop just downstairs of the apartment. Her parents are very friendly and they welcomed me. That night, we had dinner, Xiao Rou's mum cooks very well, made me think of my mum's cooking too. >.<

Xiao Rou took me to her friends house, and she introduced her friends to me. Her friends are friendly very independent. We went back and we had a long chat that night, and we slept late. The next day, both of us having "panda eyes". XD

That morning, Xiao Rou, me and one of her friend went to Sunway Pyramid, and we went Sushi Zanmai for lunch. My first time entering Sushi Zanmai in Sunway Pyramid, it was so cool!!! The interior design of the restaurant is awesome, including the food too. (Yummilicious~~~~~)

The Bon Odori started at 5pm, and it was traffice jam!!! Luckily we got to find a parking place, but it was a distance to the stadium, made us walk for 10 minutes. There was a lot of pretty young girls and ladies wearing yukata to the event. You could see different colours and patterns on the yukata of those ladies wearing. Ooohh... How I wished I could have one too. >.<

Look at those Japanese girls, why are they so fair?? WHY!!!??? Look at those kids, soooo kawaiiiii!!!

The stadium was almost packed, we even squeezed ourselves to get some food and a nice place to enjoy the opening ceremony of the event. There were Japanese drums performance, Japanese dance performance etc. We also bought some souvenirs for our friends and I almost broke. T.T
We left the stadium before the event ended, if not... terrible traffic jam. (@.@) Later, we went yum cha with Xiao Rou's friend. It was midnight when we got back home, and both of us were doing jigsaw puzzle that we bought at Sunway Pyramid. It was fun, but also tiring as it is a 300 pieces jigsaw puzzle. *panda eyes*

We slept late, again, and it was raining in the morning, really nice to sleep.*yawn*After lunch, we went to IOI Mall to shop, again, before we went back to Kampar. We bought a yummy cheesecake too, *yum yum*

I'm glad that I could follow Xiao Rou back to her hometown, and it was an exciting trip, and I also get to know her more of herself and her family and her friends as well.

Xiao Rou, kai ma missed you so much. Will visit you next time with your "mummy" and other CO friends too. Love ya lots, muakzz~~~

Cousin's Trip to Ipoh and KL

It's shopping and eating time!!! And guess what, my cousin was finally here from Kuching to visit us here. ^_^

Just few weeks back from the trip back to Kuching, my cousin flew from there to here in West Malaysia to visit us, of course, to enjoy the shopping and food paradise here.

After my dad fetched me back from Kampar at Thursday night after my class, the next day we took my cousin down to KL to go around there. First place we went was Sunway Pyramid. Both my cousin and I bought some clothes there as there were discounts going around, and we had Japanese buffet at Shogun for lunch!!! It's fanstatic. There were many varieties of food, and we all kind of stuffed ourselves a lot, and my tummy almost burst!! XD

The second day, we went to One Utama at Damansara. We went there shopping of course, and TGI Friday for lunch. We had western food there, and my goodness, the portion of it is very big~!!! Gosh, I'm feeling my body is expanding and gaining weight. XD

Then I went back to Kampar to have my class on Monday, and my sister came back for her semester break. I went back on Thursday night again, and the next day, we went to Sitiawan to enjoy another food trip. We went there to taste some Fu Zhou dishes, whom I am also a Fu Zhou, and bought back some kwong piah, which is a traditional Fu Zhou biscuits with either onions or meat inside it. The flavour is superb!

At night, we went to Pakeeza which is a North Indian Restaurant in Ipoh for dinner, it is one of my favourite, so do my cousin and sister. We had all sorts of curry dishes, and spicy, spicy, spicy...... >.<

The next day morning, we had to send my cousin to the airport back to Kuching. We surely missed her, but I'm going back again for CNY next year. She was happy, of course as she did bought a lot of goodies and food from here. Love ya lots, Esther~!! God BlesS!

My Trip back to my Hometown...

Well, again ,my family and I went to my hometown which is Kuching, Sarawak for a holiday. ^^

I took AirAsia flight back to Kuching, it was in the afternoon and was raining heavily. The flight was delayed, as usual... And guess what, I kind of sit 3 seats on myself as it was not fully seated, and we ordered steak for our lunch during the flight to Kuching. Yummilicious~~~ Praise the Lord for the wonderful food and for stopping the rain.

We arrived at Kuching in the evening, and we directly went for dinner. It was raining, as usual in Kuching, but at least I can get to enjoy the nice and cool weather there. After dinner, we went back home to unpack our things and unload my luggage too. I had a nice chat with my aunt and cousin for the night, as if we had a lot of stories to tell. (>.<) The next day, was my mum's birthday!!! To her surprise, I made her a card the day before we departed to Kuching, and I brought it back there to give her. She liked it, and my sister smsed her too, unfortunately she couldn't join us as she was having class. We went to our old favourite chinese restaurant to celebrate my mum's birthday, and she got to eat most of her favourite dishes. ^^
During our stay there, every morning we woke up very early as the dawn breaks earlier than here in Ipoh. We had wonderful breakfast every morning, as I was eating, my memories started to refresh as the taste of the food was still the same as before. Then, of course, I did hang out with my cousin too, we yum cha and shopping. Woohoo~

On the day before we went back to Ipoh, we celebrated my cousin's 19th birthday at home, inviting all her close friends. We bought her a Secret Recipe Orea Cheesecake, it wassss dellliiiiciooousssss... I'm in heaven~~~♥♥♥

The morning we were about to leave Kuching, we had our last delicious breakfast, well, it's not that I won't come back again. XD

Everytime I left Kuching, I feel so down as I missed the places and the taste there, and the warmth of the family there, but it's time for me to come back and move on my life here too. ^^
