°ºOº°*UTAR CO Concert Night *°ºOº°

Since I wrote this in Chinese version, so I might as well do it in English too. ^^

It's been a long time since I organised a Chinese Orchestra concert ever since I left my secondary schools years ago. It's my first time to have this concert in university and I couldn't believe that I still would have the chance to perform once again, and guess what, this is my first time conduction the whole orchestra in front of the audience~!!! >.<

It's a rush on that night, that I didn't have enough time to put on my makeup, do my hair, but I did made it before the concert started. I was so nervous and excited, as it was really my first time to conduct for the whole concert.

Our concert consisted a variety of performances, such as ensemble performances - The Beautiful Bambusa Nana, Princess Mononoke Theme, Moonlight Variation etc., solo performances for yang qin and liu qin, guzheng duet performance, dizi group performance and so forth.

As I came out to conduct the first song, my hands was trembling, but once I waved my baton, I started to feel the music flowing in me, and I was able to lead everyone inside to follow me, and I could also feel the passion and excitement of those members to play the music. It was fascinating.

Well, of course, besides conducting, I did perform guzheng, erhu and gaohu too in other performances except ensemble performance. So, you can say that I was at the backstage the whole time to get up and down from the stage. @.@

When it almost came to the end of it, I suddenly felt sad and reluctant. 2 hours had passed, we were coming to the end of it. It was fast and I wasn't able to realise it. When I heard the applause and the screams from the audience, I was thrilled and satisfied. All the hard work, regardless of administration or practice from all of us, are worth it.

I am really, really thankful and greatful to work with my members and friends, as they helped and supported me throughout the whole thing. Without them, the concert would not be a success.

I also want to thank my friends who came to support us that night. You really helped us and I appreciated that.

Love u guys so much. Muakzz~~~♥♥♥
